Just a small, sad little poem I wrote.

Take me away
I'll follow you anywhere
Take me away
I'll follow you till we are there

Take me away
To a place that I can call home
Take me away
To a place where I won't be alone

This place that I've loved so dear
So treasured to my heart
It's no longer here, I fear
That place, is too far gone

It used to be a wonderful place
So full of friends
Now all I can see
Is a single road;A dead end.

Take me away
I know not where to go
My friends have all left me
There is nowhere left, but down this road

But there you were, waiting
On a road I saw, but did not see
You said "Come, Follow me"
You were a friend to me

You took me far away
From that lonely place
You took me far away
Helped me to live in peace

I know that I can trust you

To a place where I belong
